No this doesn't mean hygiene is going by the wayside at Redmond, but it does mean that the little known YouTube rival is disappearing. When I say little known, I'm not joking! I really had no idea this service existed until today despite it being around since 2006.

The service will be discontinued from 31st August. Undoubtedly Soapbox hasn't been pulling its weight, or at least not in a way Microsoft would like.
