It doesn't stop there however, Valve have continued their weekly release schedule for Steam for Mac. Half Life 2, Team Fortress 2 and Counter Strike: Source all now grace Macs worldwide.

The iPad continues to fly off shelves quicker than hot cross buns at Easter. And yet Apple haven't been the only company creating buzz in the early stages of this summer.

Microsoft has released Office 2010 to businesses, perhaps the most important update of Office yet, addressing some of the fundamental issues in the woefully inconsistent interface seen in the 2007 version. Fibre optic broadband is being rolled out in the UK which should bring massive speed boosts to anyone within its range, despite the current wave of protests to the upgrade works going on in Brighton.

HTML 5 is slowly gaining traction on the web, but a Flash killer it currently isn't. Not through lack of functionality within HTML5, rather that at this stage developers are proving somewhat reluctant to abandon the Adobe bandwagon just yet.

The last couple of months have been exciting times in the tech-o-sphere, and with more to come over the summer months there's much to still be seen. Here's to our 2010 summer of technology, hopefully like the weather, it will be a hot one! B)
